Ground beetles (Carabidae), 5th communication SUMMARY. The fifth communication of part II of the Catalogue of beetles (Coleoptera) of the Urals contains a continuation of the annotated list of ground beetles (Carabidae) of the Urals Region with the adjacent territories of the Middle Trans-Volga Region, the Vyatka-Kama Interfluve, Western Siberia and Western Kazakhstan. Reference data on the regional composition of Harpalinae (the second part) are provided as follows: 5 species of genus Acupalpus Latreille, 1829, 1 species of Anthracus Motschulsky, 1850, 2 species of Bradycellus Erichson, 1837, 6 species of Dicheirotrichus Jacquelin du Val, 1857, 7 species of Stenolophus Dejean, 1821 (tribe Harpalini – 21 species from 5 genus), 16 species of Cymindis Latreille, 1805, 3 species of Demetrias Bonelli, 1810, 6 species of Dromius Bonelli, 1810, 4 species of Microlestes Schmidt-Göbel, 1846, 3 species of Paradromius Fowler, 1887, 2 species of Philorhizus Hope, 1838, 5 species of Syntomus Hope, 1838, 7 species of Lebia Latreille, 1802, 1 species of Rhopalostyla Chaudoir, 1850 (tribe Lebiini – 47 species from 9 genus), 8 species of Badister Clairville, 1806, 2 species of Licinus Latreille, 1802 (tribe Licinini – 10 species from 2 genus), by 1 species of Masoreus Dejean, 1821 and Odacantha Paykull, 1798 (tribes Masoreini and Odacanthini), by 2 species of Oodes Bonelli, 1810 and Panagaeus Latreille, 1802 (tribes Oodini and Panagaeini), 22 species of Agonum Bonelli, 1810, by 1 species of Anchomenus Bonelli, 1810 and Oxypselaphus Chaudoir, 1843, 3 species of Limodromus Motschulsky, 1850, by 2 species of Olisthopus Dejean, 1828, Platynus Bonelli, 1810 and Sericoda Kirby, 1837 (tribe Platynini – 33 species from 7 genus). Thus, 117 species of 27 genera of ground beetles within 8 tribes indicated are found at the Urals. For both the Polar and Subpolar Urals (in the Komi Republic) 32 species of 15 genera are numbered. At the Northern Urals (in the Komi Republic, in the north-east of Perm Area and north-west of Sverdlovsk Province) 38 species of ground beetles of 17 genera are recorded. For the Middle Urals, 69 species of 25 genera are listed (including 60 species in Perm Area and 65 species in Sverdlovsk Province). New finds of Aegomorphus obscurior (Pic, 1904) (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in the European part of Russia The new records in the European part of Russia (Ryazan and Nizhny Novgorod provinces, Chuvash Republic) of a rare species of beetles Aegomorphus obscurior (Pic, 1904) (Cerambycidae) are described. The species is first rec-orded for the Middle Volga region, the Nizhny Novgorod Province, the Chuvash Republic, the Oka State Nature Biosphere Reserve, the Kerzhensky State Nature Reserve and the Prisursky State Nature Reserve. As a result of fieldwork in Mordovia Republic up to and including Jule 2025, a list of 84 species of Lepidoptera is presented, 80 of which are new to its territory, including 2 (Grapholita delineana (Walker, 1863), Cupido decoloratus (Staudinger, 1886)) – as new to the Middle Volga region, 5 (Heliozela resplendella (Stainton, 1851), Mompha lacteella (Stephens, 1834), Calyciphora xanthodactyla (Treitschke, 1833), Pammene ochsenheimeriana (Lienig et Zeller, 1846), Cydia conicolana (Heylaerts, 1874)) – as new to the Volga river basin, 30 – as new to the Mordovia Nature Reserve. It is confirmed that there are 2 species in Mordovia Republic and the Mordovian Nature Reserve, known by old or dubious records. In addition, Cupido decoratus is given for the first time for the Nizhny Novgorod Province (Sarov). Northernmost and north-easternmost records are presented for Stigmella catharticella (Stainton, 1853), Bucculatrix argentisignela Herrich-Schäffer, 1855, Phyllonorycter nicellii (Stainton, 1851), Phyllonorycter lautella (Zeller, 1846), Caloptilia fidella (Reutti, 1853), Scythris clavella (Zeller, 1855), Celypha rurestrana (Duponchel, 1843), Corticivora piniana (Herrich-Schäffer, 1851), Grapholita gemmiferana (Treitschke, 1835), Udea ferrugalis (Hübner, 1796), Eublemma ostrina (Hübner, 1790), Catocala electa (Vieweg, 1890) and Schinia cardui (Hübner, 1790), also southernmost records for Nematopogon robertellа (Clerck, 1759), Prolita sexpunctella (Fabricius, 1794), Pseudohermenias abietana (Fabricius, 1787), Capricornia boisduvaliana (Duponchel, 1836), Ancylis unguicella (Linnaeus, 1758), Ancylis tineana (Hübner, 1799), Cydia cornucopiae (Tengström, 1869), Сrambus alienellus (Germar et Kaulfuss, 1817), Eupithecia intricata (Zetterstedt, 1839) and Catocala adultera Ménétriès, 1856 urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:AB0FA037-AB9C-46B8-B178-75AC28B3266D |
